It would take ten pages to list all the different restoration marketing training programs available today. To give you a short example, there are motivational programs, social media training, relationship coaching, many variations of sales training, and numerous other consultant offerings. Sadly, with most of these purported training programs, most of them involve bogus hype and 1990’s (or earlier) style marketing and selling training.
Oddly, the old saying “those that can, do, and those that can’t, teach” seems to hold true with a majority of those fake gurus and sellers of boot camps, CD’s, Books, webinars, and classes. Don’t get me wrong – learning is good – if you are learning what actually works in 2020 and into the next decade! The unfortunate part is so many of these purported “guru’s” have failed miserably in their own ventures, so they choose to ply on the gullible and naïve.
There are well over 200 coaches, consultants, and advisors in the field of restoration marketing training, and I think its fair to suggest there are probably less than a dozen that are qualified, skilled, and have a great track record – and living in today’s world!.
The fact is marketing training is changing in today’s new world. Serious changes started escalating about 2015 and grew exponentially since then. As of today (2020) the rapid evolution of growing online sales and ever-increasing social media influence is forcing everyone to adjust their restoration marketing accordingly. Even more so now that we have experienced the “stay at home” demands of government and must adapt to yet a new way of interacting with our prospects and clients.
The Co-Founders of The CREST Network learned years ago that to provide valuable, yet practical restoration marketing training, both residential and commercial coaching was necessary. It would need to include all phases of help with Education, Support, Training in the disciplines of: Sales and Marketing, Administration and Financial, plus Operations and Production. CREST was founded on that philosophy and continues to stay at the forefront of this belief.
